The Prison Ministry – writes letters to those incarcerated from our Church. Letters are of encouragement to those prisoners. Contact Susan Mills at 254-855-4148.
Caleb Men’s Group Bible Study – A men’s group that meets at the Manna House to study the bible and learn more of a deeper walk with the Father. Contact Paul Fields at 254-275-7955.
Women of Faith – meets on Wednesday mornings at 10:00 a.m. at the church office, 713 N. 18th St. Zoom is also available for the meetings. The group has bible studies, discussions on the Word applied to our lives, book studies, and prayer requests. We celebrate collective members’ birthdays monthly, watch Christian movies, and help each other outside of meetings if needed. Contact Cindy Finley at 254-265-0621.
Prayer Group – meets on Mondays at 7:00 p.m. via Zoom. A prayer table is set up on Sundays for receiving prayer requests for the prayer group. Requests are emailed Sunday night to prayer warriors. The group collectively prays on Monday over the requests. Prayer requests received throughout the week are sent out via text to the group for prayer. Contact Cynthia Montemayor at 254-855-9995.
Life Together Group – multi-age/stage of life group. We typically do either bible study and/or book study or special emphasis following the church liturgical year during the fall/winter/spring and then more fellowship-oriented activities in the summer. We meet weekly on Wednesdays at 6:30 p.m. We rotate locations at various houses and venues. Contact Kathy Wise at 254-652-6788.
Life Application Study Group – is a community of believers committed to studying God’s Word and applying its principles to every aspect of our lives. We come together to deepen our understanding of Scripture, grow in our faith, and support one another in living according to God’s will. Group meets via Google Meet. Fit to Serve – is a group that meets on Tuesdays from 7:30 to 8:00 via Zoom. Our focus is on being healthier through our eating habits and being more physically able to serve God. Contact Donna Renee Cumbie: 254-936-201-6838.
Children’s Sunday School – aims to nurture the holistic development of our children, addressing their spiritual, physical, emotional, social, and academic needs. Offers a variety of programs, including Summer Reading, field trips, community engagement activities, Christmas gifts, and CUB presentations that incorporate the arts. Recovery Group – Group meets on Sunday mornings before church service. Our group is to support men and women who are dealing with recovery from alcohol or drug addictions. The main purpose is to turn over our will to God; live a sober life, and build character.
College Group – Meets on Sunday nights. Group is a space for students who are in college or around college age. We want this group to be a space off campus to eat, hang out, and go deeper into who God is and what he desires. College group does not meet during summer break. Contact Hayoung Oh at 209-484-6719.
Men’s Breakfast Group – Once a month, the men of the church gather at 6:15 a.m. at the Church Under the Bridge office, 713 N 18th St., to eat breakfast, deepen fellowship, and then have a challenging devotional. It is a very encouraging and uplifting time. It is often held on the third Wednesday of the month. Contact Phillip Fields at 254-405-1464.
Pull Up A Chair – Small group ministry of Church Under the Bridge open to all who seek community and connection. Meeting every Sunday from 8:30 a.m. to 9:45 a.m. under the 4th Street/I35 bridge. Ministry started as a way to engage with our homeless neighbors who arrive early for worship. It is now a welcoming space for anyone to share a cup of coffee, meet new people, and have meaningful conversations.
Winners Circle Group – consists of inmates transitioning back into society. Support the whole person and help them assume responsibility, take control of their life, and build a crime-free future with the help of scripture, listening, and understanding. Contact Garland White at 254-498-6565.
Thankful Thursday – meets under the 17th St Bridge on Thursdays. Shared goal is to sing, worship, pray for various needs, have a devotional, and present the gospel. Contact Paul Fields at 254-275-7955.
